Helen & Dan • Hestercombe Gardens

Helen and Dan both love the outdoors and wanted a bit of a botanical feel to their day using a  coral, peach, white and sage-green colour pallette. We mixed eucalyptus and succulents with coral charm peonies, garden roses, foxgloves, geum, poppies and much more to create the floral arrangements for the day.

Helen’s slightly trailing bouquet included succulents nestled in between the peonies and roses, and we used succulents as the main element for the buttonholes.

Mixing my own collection of vintage bottles, with some of those Helen’s Dad had excavated over the years, we showed off the beauty of individual flower varieties whilst creating artful combinations to form eye-catching arrangements  for the fireplace and tables. A rusty old milk churn crammed with seasonal favourites provided impact for both the orangery and entrance to the Bamfylde Hall.

“Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. We had only rough ideas of colours and images in our heads and Sarah transformed them into something wonderful. My bouquet was amazing and the milk churn was a lovely centrepiece which we moved about depending on where we were. From the first meeting Sarah was flexible and supportive – you can tell she loves her job.

We definitely recommend Tilda Rose floristry – thank you!
